About The Author

Keonda Crawley currently lives in Hampton Roads, Virginia. She has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in Professional School Counseling, both from Norfolk State University.

Keonda spends most of her free time writing poetry, listening to music, going to concerts, watching Netflix series, and all Tyler Perry's movies and plays.

Keonda is passionate about educating others about the harshness and cruelty that disabled people face daily. Her writings are designed to give us a periscope view of her life living with a

physical disability and the struggles she deals with living in a world where people like herself are often overlooked.

Keonda hopes that “Do You See Me?” will help others deconstruct their societal views and hopefully change their perspective about those with disabilities. She has always wanted to tell her story and hopes that “Do You See Me?” will inspire others to realize that the sky is the limit.
